2. Capacitive touch panel:
A capacitive touch panel works by detecting the electrical properties of the human body. The operational principle of a projected capacitive touch panel (PCAP) is as follows: two layers of ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) films are embedded beneath the glass surface, forming the X-axis and Y-axis electrodes that generate an electric field across the glass. When a finger approaches the glass surface, it disturbs the local electric field by creating a change in capacitance. The controller detects these changes and calculates the precise touch location based on the capacitance variation.
